International Baccalaureate
International Talent Academy is a candidate school for Primary Years Programme (PYP) authorization. We aim to become an IB World School, providing junior pupils with a high quality and up-to-date international education.
IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning through engaging and insightful educational programs that we believe are crucial to the growth of students.
Only IB-authorized schools may offer one or more of the following programs: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP) or Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status does not mean guaranteed authorization.

IB Mission statement
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end, the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
About IB PYP
Primary Years Program (PYP) is an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum designed for students aged 3-11. It strives to develop curiosity, self-responsibility, and inquiry skills among younger students.
PYP supports a holistic approach to learning by helping children make connections between different subjects and the real world. The program is tailored to each child, allowing them to follow an individual developmental track to maximize their potential.

IB Learner Profiles
The Primary School Program aims to:

- Be based on six universal transdisciplinary themes that integrate knowledge and skills from six subject areas.
- Include the development of transdisciplinary skills that promote a holistic view of the world.
- Emphasize the importance of inquiry and the practical application of knowledge to real life.
- Promote students’ global thinking and understanding of different cultures.
- Develop critical thinking, collaboration, and reflection as key components of the learning process
Student Agency
In the PYP (Primary Years Programme) of the IB, agency refers to the capacity of students to take ownership of their learning through voice, choice, and action. It recognizes that children are not just passive recipients of knowledge but active participants in their educational journey. Agency is central to the PYP framework, shaping how students engage with learning, make decisions, and take responsibility for their actions.
Key Aspects of Agency in PYP
-
-
- Voice – Students express their ideas, opinions, and questions, contributing to the direction of their learning.
- Choice – They have opportunities to make decisions about what and how they learn within a structured framework.
- Action – They apply their learning to real-world contexts, initiating change in their own lives and communities.
